GRAHAM GALLERY Oils
G Marshall

I can find no details of this artist, which is surprising considering the fine quality of the work.

Both the sea and the sky in this oil are particularly well painted - looking at the picture, you really feel you are at sea. The artist has captured the swell and the flow of the ocean and this is set off by a blue sky and clouds to complete an image that will always be enjoyed. The picture will have been painted during the early part of the 20th century, and if the frame is the original one, then the date is likely to be 1910-20.
