GRAHAM GALLERY Prints
William Lionel Wyllie  RA, RI

Recognised as Britain's most suc-cessful and popular 20th Century marine artist, who worked in oils and watercolours, and master of the technique of dry point etching. It is no surprise that many major museums and private collections own his work, including the National Maritime Museum. Equally unsurp-rising is the increase in price of his works during the past 30 years. Graham Gallery bought its first Wyllie etching in 1979 for £20!

These prints are particularly fine examples of his remarkable skill in producing such delicate and precise images and are each from series he completed, respectively of well-known Thames scenes and war-ships of the First World War.
