Arthur Anderson Fraser

Arthur Anderson Fraser (1861-1904) exhibited from 1884 to 1891. He was the seventh child of nine, four of whom were successful artists. The best known of the "Frasers of Huntingdonshire" was W F 'Garden' Fraser, and his work is now the most valuable. They all painted in the same area and their pictures frequently show scenes of the River Ouse or neighbouring streams.

This picture is typical of Arthur Anderson Fraser's style and his clever technique to depict water.
