Ken Howard wrote as a foreward to her 2006 exhibtion at Messum's Gallery "Art must be life enhancing, it must celebrate life. The work of Jane Corsellis not only reveals the world to us, it also celebrates that world, and it is for this reason she has such a vast and devoted following".
This particular picture captures an everyday scene and transforms it into a modern impressionistic and colourful image. Those who follow contemporary artists will know her work sells for £750 to £14,000. |
