GRAHAM GALLERY Watercolours
Louisa Emily Packe

Louisa Packe was clearly a highly-gifted amateur who does not appear in any reference book.

This is a clear and confident watercolour with colours as vibrant as when the picture was painted. It is likely that it remained hidden in a folio until recently and is inscribed, dated and initialled.

"Reigate, July 26th 1860"
