GRAHAM GALLERY Watercolours
William Ayerst Ingram

Ingram (1855-1913) was a landscape painter who was born in Glasgow and studied under J Steeple and A W Weedon. He travelled to Europe frequently and lived in London, Surbiton and Cornwall. He exhibited extensively at the Royal Academy (4), the Royal Society of British Artists (143), the Fine Art Society (97), the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours (53) and many others.

This is a stunning example of his work and is as good as anything we have seen by him. It is technically and visually difficult to fault. Although not signed it came from an impeccable source.
